Shakira's Baby Appears in His First Photo

As we all know, Shakira and Gerard Pique's son Milan was born this week and his first photo has already been posted to Twitter by the proud father.

The first glimpse we get of Milan is of his legs, as he is still in the hospital. A hospital ID band can be seen on his right ankle. The baby is already preparing for a life in sports, as he is wearing Nike sports shoes.

“Milan’s feet!,” Pique wrote in the photo description.

The two stars announced the birth of Milan on Shakira's website on January 22. Their son was born at 9:36pm, in Barcelona, Spain.

“The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification.

“Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth,” they posted.
