After the performance that Shakira gave last week, during the Video Music Awards ceremony, it's no surprise that she wants to appear dancing in a Bollywood movie. The Indian-inspired dance routine for the hit 'Hips Don't Lie', that the Latino diva played on that occasion, was done with the help of the choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan.
Shakira is said to have been so pleased with working with Khan that she accepted almost instantly to appear in Bollywood-made 'Om Shanti Om', which will begin production later this year, Reuters informs.
'Shakira is so impressed with the classical and semi-classical mudra I made her do for the song she performed at the MTV awards, that she has expressed a desire to work with me. Right now it is just that we both have agreed to work with each other', Khan said in a recent interview.
The legendary director said that the singer will be traveling to India in March and that this would be just the perfect opportunity to shoot the scene for the movie, too. 'She is definitely glued in to Bollywood dancing and loves it. She wants me to incorporate it in her next music video, which she wants me to direct for her', Khan added.
