Get ready for some hot Colombian musical action next year, as the sultry Shakira has announced a brand new album in early 2014. This will be the first album Shakira makes in partnership with her new label Sony RCA.

Although the name of the entire album and the soon-to-be-released single in early January are unknown, Shakira has talked to the press about her newest musical enterprise and said that it will be dedicated to her husband, soccer player Gerard Pique, and to her son, Milan.

This album marks her first return to the studio since “Sale el Sol” which dropped in 2010. There are even rumors that the album will have a duet with Rihanna. Whatever it is, Shakira is working hard.

On December 8, she took to Twitter to announce that she had just finished shooting a video with director Joseph Kahn, also responsible for Mariah Carey's “Beautiful” and Eminem & Rihanna's “Love the Way You Lie.”

The reason behind her long absence on the musical scene is her recent marriage to soccer player Gerard Pique and the subsequent birth of their son, Milan.
