In an interview with 'Listin Diario', the former president, Fernando de la Rua, and the future father-in-law for the sexy bombshell said that she and Antonio have often talked marriage and starting a family, but that they prefer, for now, to wait a little more until they take the decisive step.

The reason for them putting the wedding on hold is not Shakira's current tour or the fact that they are most of the time apart. According to the boyfriend's father, the two love birds are just happy with being together and do not feel marriage would bring something new to their relationship.
