Shakira has arguably one of the most envied bodies in show business today. She has enticed us with her hips that, apparently, never lie, and dazzled us with her snake-like dancing moves. But is she worried about those few extra pounds packed on after giving birth?

In the February issue of Glamour Magazine, the rambunctious Colombian reveals that Gerard Pique, her partner and also the father of her son Milan, is a man that likes women with a bit of meat on their bones.

“My man, Gerard, prefers meat over bone. He doesn't like too skinny,” she boasted to the mag.

“That takes pressure off. I already have a lot to worry about. This month I'm not exercising because I have an album to finish and I have a baby. And I like these pastries in front of me,” Shakira continues.

Many women out there would like to have a partner like Gerard Pique, who not only doesn't mind a few extra pounds here and there, but even cherishes his woman when she's got more curves.

From this point of view, Shakira is happy to escape the media pressure of always being fit, always being in shape, something which requires constant exercising and eternal dieting.

At the moment, Shakira is going into overdrive, preparing for the imminent release of her newest album, set to drop on January 17. She's already began promoting her first single, a duet with famous singer Rihanna called “Can't Remember to Forget You.”

She is also slated to return as a coach on the talent TV show The Voice, alongside other musicians such as Usher. Filming for the next season of the series hasn't started, but The Voice is set to premiere in February.
