LambdaMu Games, an independent game developer and publisher headquartered in Singapore, recently announced with pride their 6th Puzzle Pack to its critically-acclaimed Shady Puzzles: Super Compilation game for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch devices

The new add-on is called Shady Puzzles: Halloween and adds 36 new puzzles for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

For Apple fans that own an iPad tablet, the game comes with an additional 13 enlarged puzzles, that are meant to take advantage of the screen's large size.

The new add-on requires the original version of Shady Puzzles, which is now on sale until November 1st for only $0.99.

For those that hadn't tried the game yet, Shady Puzzles is a fortunate combination between Sudoku and Minesweeper. Shady Puzzles is a logic game, but the developer likes to put it under the “Doodle-Art Puzzler” genre.

The main goal of the game is to correctly shade in blank squares. The real challenge comes from the fact that players must follow numerical rules for each row and column, leaving a certain number of spaces between each shaded square, as well as limiting the number of squares they shade in.

Casual gamers may find the graphics a little bit weird, but the feeling will be gone after the first ten minutes of playing.

LambdaMu Games stated that more anniversary add-ons will be launched in the future and promised that player will be able to download it for free.

More features introduced with the new “Shady Puzzles: Halloween” add-on include: Additional Game Center Achievements, across all iOS devices, as well as a “Super Secret Preview” of the developer's new game.

“Shady Puzzles: Halloween” is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices and requires iOS 4.1 or later, as well as 17.0 MB storage space.

The add-on can be downloaded for free from the App Store assuming you already have the original Shady Puzzle installed.
