Shadowrun Returns Gets New Concept and Editor Screenshots

The development team at Harebrained Schemes is giving fans a chance to see more of the world it is creating for Shadowrun Returns via a new set of screenshots, which show off various areas of the game and the actual editor in action.

The team says, “Please note that these images are not in-game screenshots. They’re concept pieces assembled from real game assets and posed characters.”

The images are impressive given the fact that Harebrained Schemes is a small developer and relies on crowd-funded resources in order to create Shadowrun Returns.

The new video game will deliver a role-playing experience built around tactical battles played using turn-based mechanics.

Harebrained Schemes promises a complex game world, believable characters and interesting interactions and choices.

Shadowrun Returns is set to launch during the second quarter of this year.
