Vanessa Hudgens has never exactly been my favorite star, at least not before the whole naked photos scandal hit last year. But now I have to confess I have developed a rather unlikely interest in this Disney chick who at the fragile age of only 16 had enough ingenuity and brains to realize that snapping photos of herself in the nude was the best way to catch a guy's attention. That much intuition at such an early age sure means we have a lot to expect from her, and I'm keeping an eye out for more photos and why not - even an innocent tape she might have made for an "audition" at some point in her early life.

Trouble with Vanessa is that, due to her naked photos now floating around readily available (just tap her name into any image search engine and see what happens), it's quite obvious that this lovely... teen (?) has pretty much made that painstaking crossing from sweet innocence to glorified sex object that most successful young stars struggle to do in one giant leap. Think of Rihanna, for example - take a look at photos of her a couple of years back and then watch the videos for "Umbrella" and "Shut Up and Drive". The trouble with Vanessa is that, contrary to what Disney or her managers might want for her, she's now playing in a different sandbox. Just enter any site where pictures of her are posted and have a look at the comments. I'll bet you anything that 90% of what you'll read there will have some degree of sexual explicitness. That's what happens when naughty little girls decide to play outside naked.

So, back to this photo of Vanessa. I don't know why, but those jeans shorts and boots sort of make me think of Britney. Well, horrible boots definitely are her thing and Vanessa is not far away from going the Spears route as far as clothes are concerned, either. I mean, I know there's no such thing as winter in California, but still... bad boots equal Britney, and I have a feeling no one wants to be in Brit Brit's shoes right about now... literally. And in many ways Vanessa is way ahead of Brit - I mean, we never had a chance to see the popwreck naked and smiling, showing off her coochie in such a candid way. Disney girls used to be much more considerate 10 years ago...
