It's good to see that someone is finally using Master Chief's popularity for people other than themselves. The figurine you see to the left (click to enlarge) has been confirmed by Kotaku to be the work of artist David Johnson. The man has put it up for auction on eBay and dubbed it the 'Mz Master Chief figure,' claiming that 10% of the profits from the sale are going to support the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

If there's anything in the world that can sell better than a Master Chief figure, it's a sexy master chief figure. The 11.5 inch statuette is currently going for the amazing price of $1,525 with three bids and five days to go. It's made from polymer clay, as the man himself confirms:

"Figure is 8 inch scale 11.5 inches tall to the tip of the sniper rifle, Created in polymer clay. ONE OF A KIND!! This is the only one, no molds were used in creation none taken from her. She has a strong armature underneith. Bid with confidence, i lifetime insure my artwork, reguardless of how she was broken I will fix her for life." says artist David Johnson

Now, as I was saying, everyone's trying to make a buck off Halo's protagonist. This time however, not only has someone thought of using his (although the figure says 'her') popularity to help an organization such as the American Breast Cancer Foundation, but used the best possible recipe at hand ? the most irresistible ingredients: sexy female body and Master Chief armour.

By now, you must be really tired of Halo stories, Bungie's FPS and its protagonist having been the number one topic since even before the game's launch on September 25th. Still, something like this is definitely worth mentioning. This Spartan Female figure is getting an A+ in my book. It's the best I've seen so far.
