As weird as it may sound, there are some robots on the market that can actually climb on the top of the roof and make your cat jumpinto the fireman's lap, of course.

The original window-climbing robot is called Climb @ Tron EX, also known as the robot Explorer. The amazing thing with this kind of robot is its capability of actually defy the gravity forces, using nothing more but a suction cup built-into its feet. With
those babies on, it can actually perform climbing down, around, even upside down on most of the smooth surfaces you need, such as windows, mirrors, roofs, as well as metal file cabinets.

I just hope the poor bot won't be used for illegal entries, robberies, or any illegal stuff that might need such a helping item.

The Climb @ Tron is powered by a single AAA battery, and allows the user to play with it in more ways that you could possibly imagine. There is no word on any remote controller included in the package. Anyway, there are a lot of climbing robots out there waiting to get to you window.

Another great example is the Brainizord Climbing Robot, from the same manufacturer, which uses a vacuum system to move up and down. This one also has an auto-reverse action included in the action scheme, that allows it to continue its scouting even after bumping into batteries. Not to mention the bot features a built-in pulsation light system, for a "hypnotic action", using only 2 AA batteries.

Besides revealing such small dimensions of 17 x 11 x 7.2cm, both robots sport unexpected affordable price tags on the online retailers.

I find Clim @ Tron more appealing to customers, mostly because of its futuristic design line, which reminds me a little bit of the Enterprise spaceship, from Star Trek. But that's just me! Anyway, I suggest you test these two and see who wins the climbing race! Go Climb @ Tron!

Meanwhile, watch Climb @ Tron in action:
