The "Sex and the City" movie is quickly turning into the season's most over-rated production. With fresh news and pictures from the shoot that reveal the movie's every plot twist popping out every other day, there is the growing danger that the final version of the film will turn out to be a big disappointment for the eagerly awaiting fans. And now, as proof that constant media attention doesn't equal quality, Sarah Jessica Parker's 'Sex and the City' wedding scenes reportedly have to be re-shot because they have turned out to be a "big mess".
The actress - who reprises her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the big screen adaptation of the hit US TV series - shot the original wedding scenes at the St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York earlier this month, but has been told she must marry her on-screen lover Mr. Big for a second time.
A source in quoted as saying: "The wedding sequence with Carrie and Big is turning into a mess. They rushed through the shoot, and now it looks like most of it will have to be re-shot at the New York Public Library in Bryant Park. It's a difficult scene to shoot, and the team isn't thrilled with the material they have. They are planning to get approval to head back into the library as soon as possible."
[IMG=2][IMG=3]Sarah was also overheard complaining to co-star Willie Garson about her outfits in the movie. The same source added that "while the crew was building a new set last week, Sarah Jessica and Willie [who is reprising his role as Carrie's close gay friend Stanford Blatch] ate ice cream and teased each other about their over-the-top character costumes".
And as always, more rumors are flying around and about concerning the misunderstandings and daily not-so-friendly banter between dedicated Sarah Jessica Parker (why is she always pictured as the good girl, I wonder?) and co-star Kim Cattrall. This time, it's their commitment to the project that puts the two feuding actresses on different sides of the barricade. Sarah Jessica is said to be throwing herself into the project and has been working long hours, while co-star Kim Cattrall is often the last person to arrive on set.
"Sarah Jessica is the hardest worker on set. She never complains or acts like a diva - she shows up first and leaves last each night". Good for her - but I for one have grown bored of waiting for the cat fight. Does anyone have any inside information on when that is going to happen?
