Google has added another location to its growing list of cities recreated in 3D in Google Earth. It’s the fourth Spanish city to get selected so there are clearly a lot of passionate volunteers in the country. After Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, Seville is now also available in three dimensions in Google Earth and in the Earth View in Google Maps.

“We're pleased to announce that you can now explore the city of Seville in 3D with Google Earth. Take a virtual tour of the most symbolic buildings of the Spanish city, that range from the Roman Empire, through the Calatrava bridges to the best examples of contemporary architecture,” Isabel Salazar, Spain Product Marketing Team at Google, wrote.

“This is a unique opportunity to visit the Andalusian capital avoiding the summer heat. We encourage you to walk to the Torre del Oro, Plaza de España or La Real Maestranza - just using your computer mouse,” she added.

Fire up Google Earth, travel to Seville, making sure that you have the 3D Buildings Layer enabled, and you’ll notice that most of the city’s architecture has now been recreated. Alternatively, you can visit Google Maps, search for Seville, and activate Earth View, as long as you have the Google Earth plugin installed. You can check out the video below to give you an idea if you’re not around a computer with Google Earth or the plugin installed.
