The search giant Google released an updated version of Picasa that brings several new goodies for all the users of the application. First of all, you should know that Picasa is now available in seven more languages: Croatian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Portuguese (Portugal),
Romanian, and Ukrainian. If you didn't know, Picasa is a very useful software solution powered by Google that allows users to find, organize and share the photos with ease. Beside the offline support that provides you with numerous functions to control the photo collection straight on your computer, you can also upload the pictures on Picasa Web Albums.
Along with this impressive language update, the parent company also bundled other fixes as it follows: "fixed a problem with Picasa jumping to the wrong picture after deleting a picture; fixed two issues which could cause a "Failed to Connect" error when logging into Picasa Web Albums; fixed a case in which an error could result when opening pictures with third-party products; fixed problems related to Picasa Media Detector not disabling properly."
Many of the Google products are available in a considerable number of languages, allowing the consumers from all around to use them in their native language. Take for example Gmail, the mail solution powered by the same Google that can be used in almost any language in which the Mountain View company exists.
In the recent period, Google tried to release new flavors of its products, especially addressed to the Chinese users, a country where the Mountain View company wants to become the leader of the market. However, Google encountered serious problems in China where the local king Baidu managed to face the competition and even steal the same segment of users targeted by Google. A few days ago, the search giant announced that it will invest in several local companies in order to increase its presence in China.
