The bizarre creature was pulled by a fisherman named Garry Warrick from South Australia's Lake Bonney

Just yesterday, a fisherman in Australia chanced to net a creature ugly and creepy enough to send even the bravest of the bunch running for the hills, screaming in horror and begging for a Hello Kitty sticker to help them get over the trauma of laying eyes on this monster.

Not to beat about the bush, this bizarre creature that is now making headlines is a fish that sports two mouths instead of just one, as is customary. Check out the photos accompanying this article to see for yourselves just how freaky it is.

Where the heck did this monster come from?

It is understood that the weird bony bream with two mouths was pulled by a fisherman named Garry Warrick from Lake Bonney, a freshwater lake located in South Australia's Riverland region. As mentioned, the fish was captured this past Monday.

Garry Warrick says that, apart from the fact that it has two mouths instead of just one, the fish appears to be quite normal. Thus, its size falls well within what is considered the normal range for this species, and it does not display any other abnormalities.

“Both mouths are actually joined together. The top one opens and closes but the bottom one looks permanently open. Other than that, it looks like a normal fish,” fisherman Garry Warrick said in a statement, as cited by Daily Mail.

Not the first creepy creature to come out of Lake Bonney

Garry Warrick has been fishing in South Australia's Lake Bonney and the creeks around it for about 30 years now. He says that, as shocking as this might be, this fish with two mouths was not the first bizarre creature he has so far chanced to catch.

On the contrary, the man says that, since he first got into fishing, he has captured dozens of deformed fish, one of which had a head that looked like that of a dolphin. Garry Warrick usually turns the weird fish he happens to capture into bait.
