14 DAY TRIAL // Serious Sam 3: BFE, the next installment in the extremely popular arcade shooter, has just received a concrete release date, while pre-orders are now being taken by major PC digital distribution services.
Developed by Croteam and set to be published by Devolver Digital, Serious Sam 3: BFE seems to remain faithful to the mechanics of the first two games, bringing the same over the top running and gunning gameplay that pleased legions of PC gamers many years ago.
The title was confirmed earlier this year, through some very impressive screenshots, and it seems that Croteam and Devolver are now ready to unleash Serious Sam once more, this time on October 18, this year.
The arcade shooter will be released on the PC, at least, at that time, although versions for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were also confirmed when it was announced earlier this year.
“We believe Serious Sam 3: BFE is the best Serious Sam game we’ve ever made,” said Davor Hunski, chief creative guy at Croteam. “We’ve designed a true arcade-style FPS game with the non-stop brutal action the series is known for and our fans have loved for the past decade.”
Serious Sam 3: BFE is now available for pre-order on a variety of digital download services, while special surprises and bonuses await customers, including:
