Sequel for Prey confirmed

Less than ten years have passed since 3D Realms' announcement of Prey way back in 1997, and the game is upon us. Well, almost, as the result of the collaboration between
3D Realms and Human Head Studios has not yet appeared in Europe, where it is scheduled for release on the 14th of July on both PC and Xbox360. However, news of a sequel has already surfaced.

A message from the end of the game seemingly reveals that "Prey will come", which leaves little room for doubt that the adventures of Tommy, the main protagonist of the game, are far from over. I wouldn't even be surprised if the developer hatched a trilogy... everybody does it these days. Let us hope that not only our great-grandchildren will get to play it, should that be the case.

What remains is for Duke Nukem Forever, 3D Realms' other spoiled brat, to show its nose out, and we can conclude yet another chapter of gaming history. Not that we really need to...
