14 DAY TRIAL // Global money transfer company MoneyGram has opened up moneygram.com to iPhone owners allowing them to send money, find MoneyGram locations, estimate money transfer fees, as well as view recent account activity on the go.
The company says people today rely on their smartphones to do pretty much everything, so an iPhone-centric version of the service was a no brainer.
Juan Agualimpia, MoneyGram’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, says “We know a growing number of consumers today use their mobile devices as a primary tool to search for products and services and conduct day-to-day activities, like online banking and other financial transactions.”
The company augmented its technology to add iPhones to the compatibility chart, in what MoneyGram considers to be another step “in creating a robust mobile channel for our current and potential customers.”
