“Memento is an elegant e-card sending application offering a natural feel and ease-of-use. Share an emotion, a precious moment or a unique event... So much more than a plain e-card, Memento's emails are of unmatched quality and richness. Its built-in designer styles support and enhance anyone's photos, and help convey a mood or feeling,” says Tapping It, the company behind Memento for iPhone and iPod touch.

According to the iTunes App Store description of the app, feature highlights include,

- 14 Designer Styles Included

- Multiple Email Recipients

- Amazing yet familiar User Interface

- Compatible with Mac OS X Mail, Thunderbird, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, MobileMe.

Memento is currently localized in three different languages. These are US English, French and Italian. The application works on iPhone and iPod touch running firmware 2.0 or higher (currently at 2.1). Memento 1.0 costs only $2.99 (USD) and is available exclusively through Apple's iTunes App Store. The application can be found under Lifestyle.

Memento was released on October 29, 2008. Submitted and sold by Duncan Wilcox, the app is currently at its first release. Future versions are likely to include more fun stuff like templates and new ways to edit the cards.
