The Legally Blonde actress lives in an unpleasant-smelling house.
Selma Blair and her husband Ahmet Zappa have discovered they had a dead skunk under their floorboards.
The couple bought this summer a $1.3 million (GBP 720,000) West Hollywood house and they've already run into troubles with it, according to contactmusic.com
"We bought a house together and we were fumigating it for termites. And after a couple weeks it stinks, it's wrong, something's bad, it smells like a corpse", Selma said.
"A few more weeks go by and I think, 'Maybe not such a good look for the two of us,' but the smell is growing and it's very frightening. And then it starts to smell like a skunk.
We can't find it and the floorboards get ripped up searching everywhere. And there, lo and behold is the cutest little baby skunk - dead", she added.
"(The smell is still) kind of there so the house is now called Skunk Manor", Selma declared.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old actress is ready to publish her first short story.
Along with launching her writing career, Selma has just wrapped The Night of the White Pants, in which she plays a record executive bent on helping her oil-magnate father navigate yet another messy divorce. "Pants" also stars Tom Wilkinson, Nick Stahl, Frances Fisher and Janine Turner. She's also signed up for Hellboy 2.
"I could probably use a screenplay, so I should write one," Blair told Lloyd Grove, of the New York Daily News. "I do plan on one day writing again. I mean, that's what I went to college for", the actress confessed.
