Mobile content distributor Movaya announced the beta launch of Movaya PlugNPlay, a mobile video game distribution service that allows any website, ecommerce site or blog to sell mobile games.

PlugNPlay is a web service that allows any website to set up a mobile game store in a matter of minutes. The service is an integrated solution that supports all aspects of ecommerce transactions for mobile game sales and distribution. PlugNPlay provides relationships with mobile game publishers and cellular carriers so that anyone can sell mobile games from any retail storefront, web site or blog. The new service also handles payment processing, customer care and reporting. Similar to an affiliate program, the website owner only needs to provide the store links and PlugNPlay does the rest.

Ecommerce retail storefronts, web site owners or bloggers simply need to visit the Movaya website and fill out a short registration form to begin using PlugNPlay. Joining the service is free, and within a few minutes, users have access to a library of mobile games from more than 50 publishers. Users of the service can add the entire game library at once or opt to add individual games onto their site using PlugNPlay Game Widgets. Widgets give the user the ability to simply copy and paste an HTML code snippet right onto any web page and offer a mobile game for sale.

"Until now, selling mobile games directly to consumers via a website was difficult and expensive," sais Phil Yerkes, CEO of Movaya. "PlugNPlay eliminates the need for any online retailer to spend thousands of dollars and months of time to build this type of website offering. Our PlugNPlay service it is a quick, easy and low cost solution for anyone wanting to sell mobile video games."
