This is one of those inventions that everyone would like a chance to watch

I've been writing about robots on and off for years, and I can safely say that sightings of them have become more frequent in recent months.

There's the MIT Cheetah runner, another MIT robot that assembles furniture, various flying machines, etc.

Still, when thinking of robots, many people envision a humanoid invention.

Kenji Ishida introduced, through Brave Robotics, a self-transforming RC bot, which can just as easily be dubbed a self-transforming RC car.

The first sightings happened last year, but a new video is available now, one that shows the car driving (admittedly slowly) and even the surprisingly fast transformation.

The RC is still a bit clumsy (it takes it three tries to climb upright) and its walking is a bit jittery, but the fact is that it can walk.
