Selena Gomez’s Message to Justin Bieber: “Cry Me a River”
Singer sets tongues wagging with Justin Timberlake cover in concert
Last November, after he broke up with Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber made sure he let his fans know of it by covering Justin Timberlake’s famous breakup song “Cry Me a River.” Now watch Selena do the same.Justin and Selena made up and went out for another while after this, but they broke up again in the first days of 2013.
This time, it must be for good because Selena too is singing about it.
“I’ve been through a lot the last couple of months. It’s been sad and cool, but interesting. This song definitely speaks to me,” she told fans at a recent UNICEF concert.
Because she’s been in the game long enough to know that singing such a song would immediately get her press, she probably chose to do this as a message to Justin, whom she’s believed to have forgiven and taken back more times than she could care to count, voices online are saying.
All I can say is that her version of “Cry Me a River” definitely tops Justin’s.
