Selena Gomez’s health problems are probably related to blood pressure issues, says report

Last week, after a televised interview, Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital after complaining of severe headaches and nausea. TMZ has a possible explanation for the quick trip to the hospital and the star’s worsening condition.

Over the weekend, Selena was again spotted going to the hospital – to have doctors run more tests because they still hadn’t found out what was wrong with her, the e-zine says.

Of course, rumors that she was pregnant with Justin Bieber’s baby are unfounded, TMZ states. The same goes for reports that she’s been poisoned by a Belieber, as “punishment” for dating Justin.

“Selena Gomez has undergone a number of tests for blood pressure issues since being hospitalized Thursday, TMZ has learned,” the e-zine writes.

“As TMZ first reported, Gomez was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after taping an appearance on The Tonight Show, complaining of nausea and a severe headache,” TMZ says.

“Sources tell us Gomez has undergone a number of tests for blood pressure issues, but so far, doctors have not been able to determine what is causing the problem,” the report argues.

At the same time, other media outlets are saying inside sources believe Selena was taken ill after she got food poisoning, which was only made worse by her being exhausted and her hectic schedule.

No word though on what exactly she ate to make her so sick.

The singer’s rep has not addressed her condition in any way yet, which is probably why more rumors of this type will continue to surface online in the following days, until an official statement comes.

In the meantime, Selena’s boyfriend Justin Bieber is also keeping mum, even though he does occasionally tweet about things of a more personal nature.

This time, though, he makes no mention of Selena’s illness on his official Twitter page, except for a tweet on June 10 that includes only the hashtag “#GetWellSelena.”
