Singer does 3 of her biggest hits, gets Kelly Clarkson singing her praise on Twitter

Selena Gomez was the Halftime performer for the Thanksgiving game between the Oakland Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys, held at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas the other day, in support of The Salvation Army.

Above is her entire performance, which included “Walk like a Champion,” “Slow Down” and “Come and Get It”: it was a gorgeous show but, let’s be honest here for a second, it wasn’t live.

Selena, dressed in a cute little leather number, danced and shimmied with her backup troupe, and put on a very energetic routine. She did not sing live, however, but against a backing track pre-recorded with her vocals, which is something she does almost always. Proof of that is here, if you don’t believe me.

Even so, singer Kelly Clarkson thought she deserved a high-five for the effort that went into preparing for such a show, and gave her a shoutout on Twitter.

Since it was for charity, I will do the same, especially since Selena too went on social media right afterwards to urge her fans and followers to donate to the Salvation Army. Here’s where you too can get involved.
