14 DAY TRIAL // He strikes, he misses! Justin Bieber thought he could score a home run when he posted a photo of ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez all dressed up and commenting on that photo that she looked like a princess, but his attempts at getting her back have fallen on deaf ears.
The “Come and Get It” singer doesn't seem to have been impressed by the gesture, according to TMZ, who says that several sources close to her said she “scoffed” when she saw the photo and the message.
Not only that, but she also deemed his attempt at getting back together as “stupid and childish.” “Selena isn't falling for Justin's old tricks anymore.” Justin, meanwhile, is still confident that he is Selena's love of her life, after he bragged to friends that he was her first and thus holds immense power over her.
But he might do well to reconsider his position, as Selena seems to have wised up all of a sudden, and the same sources that broke the news she wasn't impressed are saying that this new revelation is due to the time she spent in rehab, “She's exercising her rehab knowledge and slamming the door shut on any future relationship.”
Gomez did indeed spend some time in rehab back in January, but she didn't complete the 6 weeks required at the Arizona facility. Her representatives said that it was for personal reasons, but is was generally regarded as her attempts to fight alcohol and drug addiction.
It seems that she's also picked up some useful dating advice on the way, as rumors from her rehab stint said she opened up about a betrayal in her life that had driven her to drink and drugs. She claimed that Justin had cheated on her with a girl named Miley and this had hurt her immensely.
Following this shocking uncovering, the pop world was then reported to have been split into two, as Selena Gomez teamed up with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato in a plot to sabotage Miley as best they could. All the girls used to be friends, but lately Miley has distanced herself from the group, and insiders believe that this cold shoulder treatment is due to Miley's indiscretion with Justin.
Just to be clear, Miley vehemently denied any involvement with Justin, saying that it was all a fabrication of the media and that she would never do such a thing. But Miley or no Miley, the fact that Justin and Selena can't seem to see eye to eye anymore is evident.
