That being together has definitely helped both in their careers is a given, since each gained new fans from the other.
However, their relationship may be more than that, Radar Online claims in a recent piece.
In fact, all the romance is gone from it, so the only reason they’re still together is because Selena won’t leave him, not when she knows the kind of hit her “brand” would take if she did.
“Selena and Justin's relationship isn't the fairytale romance they'd like their fans to believe it is. Justin's heart is with Selena because she's his first true love, but Selena is pretty much just riding out the relationship because she knows he's good for her image,” an insider reveals for the celebrity publication.
It’s not just Selena who insists on staying in a relationship with Justin for the sake of publicity, the report goes on to argue. Her people too are pressing her to continue with the charade, or risk losing many fans.
“Dating Justin is good for Selena's brand. Together they're a brand! Everyone in Selena's camp is aware of Justin's star power and is urging her to make it work with him,” the insider says.
“Let's just say that if for some reason Justin's star ever fell, Selena would drop him immediately,” adds the spy, explaining that the two have been fighting and breaking up regularly in recent months, because things between them simply don’t work anymore.
Fans must know that, these past few months, there’s been a lot of talk of breaking up where the two are concerned, with insiders telling the glossies the main reason for this is the little time they manage to spend together.
