14 DAY TRIAL // Selena Gomez is growing up, but according to a new report, she might be heading in the wrong direction if she doesn’t get professional help fast. The former Disney star, who earlier this year reportedly checked into rehab for a couple of weeks, is “going off the rails” completely because she hangs out with the wrong people all the time.
Following the Justin Bieber vs. Orlando Bloom boy drama of a couple of days ago, when the latter tried to punch the first for allegedly making a joke about sleeping with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, InTouch is running a very damning story about Selena, Justin’s on-and-off girlfriend.
They’re broken up right now but she’s not exactly crying over him: just recently, she celebrated turning 22 in St. Tropez with model Cara Delevigne. Insiders claim that they partied so hard every night that Selena inevitably ended passed out (story via CB).
“Selena had a lot to drink. She went totally wild,” one spy recalls. “Selena parties until she passes out. It’s sad because she can’t even go to someplace like Disneyland and have a good time without partying. She actually has gone to Disneyland high on magic mushrooms.”
The worst part is that she’s been dabbling in heavier drugs too, like cocaine and ecstasy, besides the weed she’s smoking on a regular basis these days.
The report mentions that Selena is so completely out of control right now that not even her former BFF Demi Lovato, who knows all about addiction and battling your demons, and more importantly, conquering them, is on speaking terms with her anymore.
Demi isn’t the only one who’s left: Selena’s parents are also out of the picture, but not by their own volition. Earlier this year, Gomez fired them as her managers, and despite their claims that the decision was in her best interest because she wanted a professional manager in charge of her career, the sad reality is that she’s shut them out of her life.
Selena hasn’t spoken to her parents in a very long time, and she’s determined to keep things that way. She even listed the house she bought for them in 2011 for sale and is taking every step necessary to remove them from her life altogether.
In the meantime, she is surrounding herself with all kinds of bad influences, like Cara, and throwing all caution to the wind.
“Cara is a well-known partier and the last person Selena needs to be around right now. But Selena just wants to be around people who want to party and have fun and not take life seriously, which is what Cara does,” the insider explains.
Also part of the “having fun” plan is Gomez’s decision to hook up with as many guys as possible, another source reveals. “She’s completely gone off the rails.”
