14 DAY TRIAL // Justin Bieber was roasted last night for his very own Comedy Central Roast, which will air on March 30, and as expected, no one spared his feelings in delivering one jab after another. Anything from his drag racing DUI arrest to his 4-year romance to Selena Gomez and the fact that he looks like a girl was fair game.
The Canadian pop star wasn’t exactly thrilled with the jokes made about Selena, but then again, it’s not like he had an actual choice: he did ask to be roasted. Well, Selena didn’t - and she’s furious that he did nothing to stop people from making fun of her.
Selena feels like she was the one being roasted
Sources close to the former Disney star tell Hollywood Life that she is very upset about how the Justin Bieber Roast played out, because it felt to her like she was the one being roasted, not him.
With jokes that referenced her alleged romp with Orlando Bloom, which got Bloom to take a swing at the Biebs (and miss!), her being more masculine than he could ever hope to be, and the fact that she had to sleep with him as the world’s most tragic experience, it’s no wonder she’s feeling targeted.
“Selena is furious that she was targeted so viciously by the comics at the roast,” says a spy. “While Selena’s not entirely sure why she was the butt of a lot of jokes, she does feel that Justin may have had a hand in allowing the comedians to rip her to shreds with their comments.”
It’s true that even the fans saw this coming, pleading with the roasters on social media ahead of the event to not touch the Selena Gomez topic. Naturally, this made them say even more jokes about her than they initially planned.
Selena’s new boyfriend is a shoulder to cry on
Luckily for Selena, this will be the last time that she will have to put up with Justin Bieber’s immature behavior and refusal to act like the 21-year-old young man he is.
She is now dating DJ Zedd, and as per the same report, he’s very understanding and cool about the Roast, even telling her that all the jokes they made at her expense had been done before, just never on such a huge platform.
So she has nothing to be upset about, because this will be the last time she’s embarrassed in public like this. Zedd has also been proving a good shoulder to cry on at this difficult moment for Selena, dishes the tipster.
