With the Leipzig Games Convention drawing near (August 23-27), Sega has confirmed that it will have a total of eleven titles on display at the show. Games scheduled to be playable at the event include Medieval II: Total War for PC, Sonic the Hedgehog and Virtua Tennis 3 for the Xbox, and Yakuza for the PlayStation 2.

The show will also mark the European premiere of the MMORPG Phantasy Star Universe for PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and PC, Sonic Rivals for the PSP, and the multiplatform game Charlotte's Web, based on the 2006 movie with the same name.

Finally, a number of next generation titles will be shown behind closed doors, including Sega Rally, Sonic The Hedgehog, Virtua Tennis 3, and Full Auto 2 for the PlayStation 3, as well as Sonic and the Secret Rings (formerly Sonic Wildfire) and Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz for the Wii.

"The 2006 Games Convention is a perfect stage for our constantly growing line-up of unique games," said Sega Germany's marketing director Anusch Mahadjer.

"Furthermore, our significantly increased presence in the Business Centre will allow us to present upcoming Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii highlights to trade and press representatives in a relaxed atmosphere."
