Unlock characters and stages

Sega Superstars Tennis is a tennis video game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sega. The game includes 16 playable characters, and 10 courts from Sega franchises, including Sonic the Hedgehog, The House of the Dead, Alex Kidd, Space Channel 5 and many others. Fifteen Sega franchises are represented in the game in total.

The game modes are:

Exhibition Mode - Exhibition mode offers the chance to challenge the

character of your choice, to a match on one of many courts, including Sonic's home court of Green Hill Zone, or Amigo's Carnival Park court. Wherever the players play there will be a host of Sega celebrities cheering them on from court side and by partaking in doubles matches with their choice of partner.

Tournament Mode - The goal of the Tournament Mode is to collect medals called "silverware," which allow the players to unlock characters and stages. Several minigames and bonus challenges can be unlocked through playing the Tournament mode.

Mini-Games - There are several playable minigames in Sega Superstars Tennis, including ones from Sega games such as a Target mini-game, a The House of the Dead meets Space Invaders game, in which the player has to hit moving targets, a Space Harrier game, a Puyo Puyo game, a Virtua Cop game, and a Samba De Amigo game.

Complete the indicated task in Superstars mode to unlock the corresponding character.

Alex Kidd: Complete Tournament Singles in the "Alex Kidd" stage.
Amy Rose: Complete Tournament Singles in the "Sonic The Hedgehog" stage.
Gilius Thunderhead: Complete Tournament Singles in the "Golden Axe" stage.
Gum: Complete Tournament Doubles in the "Jet Set Radio" stage.
MeeMee: Complete Tournament Singles in the "Super Monkey Ball" stage.
Pudding: Complete Tournament Singles in the "Space Channel 5" stage.
Reala: Complete Tournament Singles in the "NiGHTS" stage.
Shadow the Hedgehog: Complete "Tournament Doubles" in the "Sonic The Hedgehog" stage.

Bonus stages

Complete the indicated task in Superstars mode to unlock the corresponding stage.

Alex Kidd: Complete "Get A High Score!" in the "Space Harrier" stage.
Outrun: Complete "Hit Justice Shots" in the "Virtua Squad" stage.
Space Harrier: Complete Tournament Singles in the "Space Channel 5" stage.
Virtua Squad: Complete "Hit The Big Zombies!" in the "Curien Mansion" stage.
