Sega Offers Special Deal for the PSN

Christmas is just two days away, so the discount fever is getting more and more severe, and spreading from store to store like wildfire. The online stores don't seem to be immune to this, and another one that got a bad case of the sniffles is the PlayStation Store. Sega is leading the charge on the PlayStation Network Christmas Sale, and all of its games on the PlayStation Portable and the downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 will receive a 40-percent discount. The price drop will begin tomorrow, December 24, and it will end on January 7. While some titles on the list are more than worthy candidates to catch our eye, some older Sega products would have been just as welcomed.

Still, a sale is a sale and 40 percent is nothing to turn away from, but, while the entire list may be quite varied on the PSP, the PS3 offers of DLCs, while still numerous, prove to be somewhat lacking in the variety section. While there are a lot of faces available on the handheld offer, the DLC list is made up of just two franchises, Sonic and Valkyria Chronicles, so, unless you're a fan of at least one of them, this offer won't get you as far as you've hoped.
