Seesmic have finally managed to bring a series of enhancements to their mobile applications aimed at devices running under Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7 so as to make the software fully usable, the way it should have been from day one.

According to the company, the new improvements are only minor ones, but they would certainly prove of great importance for the overall experience that users receive from the application.

“We've made some minor but valuable improvements for Seesmic for Windows Phone 7. The new version focuses on what our community has shared and thank you to all Seesmic for Windows Phone 7 fans,” the company notes on its website.

When released into the wild, the Seesmic for Windows Phone 7 application was said to offer poor performance, but the new release should fix that.

According to the release notes for the software, users would enjoy enhancements like:

Timelines are now cached for increased loading speed Speed and scrolling improvements, everywhere in the app Display of private and verified Twitter accounts Added animations and transitions Bug fixes

The Seesmic for Windows Phone 7 application was made available for download from the Windows Phone Marketplace. Through it, users can access multiple Twitter accounts, as well as Facebook, and can do other actions more.

These improvements, included in the 1.3 version of the application, add to the existing features of the application, which included:

Native and customized dashboard Multiple Twitter accounts and Facebook Update multiple Twitter accounts at once Access user profile, upload links, pictures, geotag tweets Organize accounts, searches, lists and trending topics

Even so, there still are a series of issues that the application packs, such as the fact that it can not run under lock, a recent article on Mobile Tech World notes. The news site also points out that, even if the speed and scrolling of the app were improved, things are not as great as they should be.
