A new flavor of Seesmic for Android was recently made available for download via the Android Market, namely version 1.6, with a nice range of enhancements over the previously available variant of the software.

As the apps developers note, this is one of the most popular software available for Android devices, and the fact that its features list is continuously expanding should make it even more appealing than before.

“Seesmic for Android is one of our most popular applications, and for good reason. Now, we're giving you even more reason to try Seesmic for Android with our latest update,” the company notes in a recent blog post.

Among the new features including in Seesmic 1.6 for Android, we can count complete support for Facebook, along with a larger selection of widgets.

With the new iteration of the mobile application, users have the possibility to add multiple Facebook accounts, as well as to tweet using TwitLonger, which enables them to post messages longer than 140 characters.
