Famous theoretical physicist and string theorist Brian Greene has recently spoken at the TED Conference, and made a spectacular presentation covering the possibility that our Universe is part of a Multiverse, showing basic principles belonging to string theory, and so on.

Greene also spoke about the necessity of having extra dimensions of space when dealing with string theory. However, this is done in a manner that is very easy to understand, which is partially what makes this video so awesome.

He underlines that many aspects of string theory suggest the existence of both additional dimensions and additional Universes, existing alongside our own in the Multiverse. It could be that our Universe is simply one possible arrangement, joined in the Multiverse by all other possible arrangements.
