Send all spam submissions to a domain that doesn't exist

In case your Drupal website is struggling with keeping spammers away, Spam Blackhole is an application that’s worth checking out.

The module is designed to block submissions made by spam bots by sending them to a domain that doesn’t exist, or a “blackhole.”

Spam Blackhole uses JavaScript to replace the form action URL with a dummy URL. When real users submit the form, the dummy URL is replaced with the real URL by a JavaScript code. Since many spam bots are not designed to execute JavaScript, their submissions are sent to the blackhole.

Spam Blackhole is a great tool for fighting spam not only because it can be highly efficient, but also because it doesn’t impact page loading time.

To install Spam Blackhole, log in to the Drupal administration panel, go to the Modules section and upload the module. Once it’s installed, activate the application from the modules list.
