SecureCRT 7.2.5, a terminal emulator for computing professionals with advanced session management and numerous options for repetitive tasks, is now available for download.

The SecureCRT development team brings a new version of the software every month or so, and the current release is not actually a large one. Some changes and fixes have been implemented, but nothing major has been added, unless you are using an Ubuntu system and a few others OSes.

According to the developers, support has been added for opening a new SecureCRT window into the Ubuntu Unity QuickList, the application no longer crashes when TAPI sessions are closed, and arguments passed to logon scripts are no longer retained and used by scripts launched from the button bar or from a mapped key.

Also, the Connect dialog now has a horizontal scrollbar, some licenses that contained international characters are now considered valid, in the Session Options dialog the width of the Firewall dropdown has been increased in order to accommodate long names, and the clipboard text can now be pasted into multiple tabbed sessions.

A complete list of features, updates, and other various bug fixes can be found in the changelog. You can download SecureCRT 7.2.5 right now from Softpedia.
