Maureen Jett, a product director from VanDyke Software, has announced that SecureCRT 7.1 is now available for Linux, for both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux OSes.
SecureCRT 7.1 provides terminal emulation for computing professionals, raising productivity with advanced session management and a host of ways to save time and streamline repetitive tasks. Highlights of SecureCRT 7.1:
• SecureCRT no longer crashes when a connected session is cloned and the terminal protocol of the cloned session is changed;
• The SFTP tab no longer incorrectly shows the connection status as connected;
• Support has been added for the Cursor Horizontal Absolute (CHA) escape code to the VT100 and ANSI emulations;
• The ability to tile sessions, within the SecureCRT application window, has been added.
