Maureen Jett, a product Director from VanDyke Software, has announced that SecureCRT 6.7.4 is now available for Linux, for both Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

SecureCRT 6.7.4 provides terminal emulation for computing professionals, raising productivity with advanced session management and a host of ways to save time and streamline repetitive tasks.

Highlights of SecureCRT 6.7.4:

· SecureCRT no longer chases while idle when several Telnet sessions are connected;
· SecureCRT no longer chases if a tabbed session is disconnected while a script is running;
· The URL syntax of telnet now works properly;
· On Ubuntu, SecureCRT no longer chases when attempting to establish an SSH2 connection to a local or remote host;
· When Ubuntu rans on a system with an older processor, such as Pentium 4 or Pentium M, SecureCRT no longer crashes when attempting to connect to a Secure Shell server.
