The security of our computer is more and more threatened by numerous infections or vulnerabilities discovered every day. The most important question is how can we protect our computers and avoid a successful exploitation of the infection or of the vulnerability? Most users think it's enough to install an antivirus solution or a firewall tool, or even both of them but it was proved several times this is not enough. Why? Because these solutions might contain a single or more vulnerabilities able to make our computers opened in front of attacks.

In fact, is there any solution to protect our computers? Well, it's probably safe to install an antivirus tool like Kaspersky, Norton Antivirus, Nod32 or others, a firewall tool from the numerous applications currently available, a spyware tool, malware detection utilities or a single suite to include all these functions.

So, let's suppose our computer is now protected but we're browsing the Internet and we get the system infected. How? Well, there are numerous malicious files able to be transferred on the user's computers using a single click. Is there any way to protect the system against these infections? You can use a browser security tool but this is not even enough. Why?, you'll ask. Because there is one more dangerous way to hack a computer, other than infections or malicious files.

The phishing websites are more and more popular as the hackers are continuously trying to obtain financial information or bank accounts from users. Usually, a phishing page is a copy of the original website with the same elements and design that require the user to enter private information such as bank account data or financial details.

So, the security of our computer is not assured. How can we make it even more powerful? We can't do anything but let's hope the security companies are working on it.
