Lindsay Lohan left without legal representative for the second time in as many weeks

No matter how hard she refuses to face the harsh reality that is her future, Lindsay Lohan can’t possibly deny she’s in trouble. Only two days before she has to take herself in to begin the 90-day sentence, and while she’s yet to come to terms with the idea that jail is a given at this point, her second attorney has just quit. Robert Shapiro, whom Lohan contracted a short while ago, has removed himself as legal representative of the actress, E! Online informs.

This, of course, has sent the Internet (celebrity blogs and e-zines, that is) into a frenzy of speculation as to the reason why Shapiro too decided he couldn’t help Lindsay, even if stating the contrary only a few days ago. Sources are saying that his departure had a lot to do with the fact that she still refuses to go to jail, though Shapiro’s one condition for accepting the case was that she did what was told. Moreover, even if she’s been spending the last few days in a sober house, she remains “unruly” and incompliant, spies reveal, which doesn’t suit Shapiro’s plans for her.

“Shapiro publicly acknowledged just days ago that he was representing the troubled actress on the condition that she comply ‘with all of the terms of her probation, including a requirement of jail time.’ She’s due to turn herself in tomorrow, so what went wrong?! […] Though ostensibly a positive step, it may have been Lohan’s brief stay at the Los Angeles residence that made things worse. A source tells E! News that Shapiro was not happy with her behavior there. ‘She was unruly,’ the source says. ‘She was having people over at all hours of the night. She acted like she ran the place’,” E! writes.

Reports coming from various sources are saying that, while in the sober house, Lindsay not only bossed people around and had countless guests coming over, but she also refused to eat and chose to spend most of the time biting her nails and chain smoking. As of now, it is now known who will represent her in court come tomorrow, when she is to start her jail sentence – but, according to People, the actress is convinced it’s not going to happen either way.

Lohan took to her Twitter page to explain how she felt about the whole going to jail situation and she puts it better than any other “source” talking to the tabs. “The only ‘bookings’ that i’m familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i’d be ‘booking’ into Jail... eeeks,” Lohan tweeted. At the same time, reports say she’s determined to fight this one out and refuse to go to jail – and hope it will eventually pay off and she’ll be spared, and be made to do rehab instead.
