This year’s Nexus 7 tablet PC has made its way to more markets around the world, with France, Germany, Japan, Spain, and the UK being the latest to receive it.

Made official earlier this summer, the device landed on shelves in the United States and Canada several weeks ago, and has been pushed to the international market this week.

Both the 16GB and 32GB flavors of the slate are now available for purchase in these countries (except for Japan), though only with Wi-Fi connectivity packed inside.

At the moment, users in France, Germany, and Spain can grab the new Nexus 7 for €229 ($306) if they go for the 16GB variant, or for €269 ($360), provided that they want to purchase the 32GB version, as AndroidOS notes.

Users in the UK interested in the purchase of this device will have to pay £199.99 ($310 / €231) for the 16GB model or £239.99 ($372 / €278) for the 32GB iteration, while those in Japan can grab the 16GB flavor of the slate for 27,800 yen ($286 / €213).

The new Nexus 7 was launched with a series of appealing enhancements over last year’s model, and landed on shelves with the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform release right from the start.

The device comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor packed inside, 2GB of RAM, and a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel touchscreen display.

The specifications list of the new slate also includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a 1.2MP front camera. The second-generation Nexus 7 is powered by a 3950 mAh battery.

As mentioned above, only the Wi-Fi variant of the new Nexus 7 is available for purchase at the moment, though it appears that the LTE-enabled version might not be too far behind. A recent post on gottabemobile claims that it should be put up for sale as soon as the next month, in multiple markets.
