Users report erratic behavior, additional taps registered by the device's screen

The second-generation Nexus 7 tablet PC, already in the hands of a great deal of users out there, appears to be suffering from a series of issues with its multitasking, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, the screen sometimes registers additional inputs, and even starts acting strangely for very short periods of time.

The issue appears to be widespread, as many users have been complaining about it on various forums out there, Engadget notes.

In fact, it seems that Google is already aware of the situation, and it is working on finding a way to resolve it. “The Android team is aware of this issue and investigating,” the company reportedly said.

One thing that is certain at the moment is the fact that many users are now having these issues with the device. A fix for the problem might be coming sooner rather than later, so stay tuned.
