3D printed guns have already stirred a lot of controversy, or perhaps I should say that the unscrupulous download of the schematic did.
The Liberator has come a long way from the initial incarnation, which broke as soon as the first shot was fired.
Above is the video that clearly shows the fully 3D printed gun unloading a full clip of eight bullets without needing a component replacement.
Still not the best endurance, but more than one could expect from a gun that is, in essence, made of plastic.
Keep in mind that this isn't the Liberator, but a new version which, as amusing as it sounds, was built with a cheaper 3D printer than the original.
It is called the “Lulz Liberator” and, as we have noted previously, has a metal firing pin as well as a small chunk of steel in it, to make it show up on metal detectors.
