Readers that appreciate Seasonic’s high-quality devices should not expect these to be cheap, despite the fact that the manufacturer says they are targeted towards the mid-range market. The prices of the new devices start at $70 (€56), which is quite high for a 360W PSU.

The new G-Series from Seasonic are only partially modular, as the main ATX mainboard cable along with the extra 12V line is permanently attached to the casing.

The smallest model is the G-360 that comes with PFA, 80 Plus Gold efficiency certification and an impressive 5-year warranty.

The power supply unit comes with gold plated terminals, electrolytic capacitors that are rated to withstand temperatures of 105 degrees Celsius and solid aluminum capacitors.

The 12-cm cooling fan is temperature-controlled and there is a single 12V line able to deliver a maximum of 30 Amps.

The 450W (G-450), 550W (G-550), and 650W (G-650) models come with the same features but are able to handle more devices and have extra Over Current Protection (OCP) and Over Temperature Protection (OTP).
