Microsoft is making easy access to the Internet Explorer History files and content a reality. The Redmond Company has made available for download on the Microsoft Download Center a
tool designed to work in conjunction with Internet Explorer.

The Internet Explorer History Protocol Handler add-in, once installed, will index the history of the web pages browsed via IE. It delivers support for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP Service Pack 2. Microsoft also informs that the Internet Explorer History Protocol Handler add-in is fully compatible with Internet Explorer version 6.0 SP2 and later.

"By downloading this Add-in, your Internet Explorer History will be indexed by Windows Desktop Search when your PC is idle or when you select 'Index Now'. Once the index is updated you can immediately search your Internet Explorer History," reveals Microsoft.
