Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been sued for $5 million by model Tyson Beckford, for a breach of contract and copyright infringement.
Beckford, 34, stated that even though his contract with Diddy expired, the singer continued to use his image to advertise the line without permission. Tyson was the face of Combs' Sean John clothing line.
Beckford's attorney, Kenneth Montgomery, tells AllHipHop.com, "What we have here is a blatant case of wrong doing on behalf of Mr Combs and Sean John. They wilfully continued to use Mr Beckford's image without permission because he become known as the face of Sean John."
According to Montgomery, Beckford was willing to settle an agreement with Diddy before he pursued legal action, but he received no answer from the singer.
Montgomery adds, "My client reached out to Mr Combs several times before coming to my firm. His manager Beth Ann Hardison also contacted him to seek a resolution. They were not heard."
