Sean Bean was killed on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” at the end of season 1 but fans are still to lose hope that he might return as Ned Stark, in one form or another. They would even settle for a cameo, if nothing else is doable.

In the meantime, Bean has been working on a new TNT show called “Legends,” which is about to premiere soon and which he’s promoting in a new interview with Huffington Post Live. The question about Jon Snow’s parentage on “GoT” still came up, though.

For the past weeks, fans have been speculating on the possibility that Jon Snow isn’t even Ned Stark’s bastard son as they were led to believe. In fact, chances are he’s actually his nephew, whom he agreed to raise as his own child to protect him.

If you’re looking for awesome “Game of Thrones” spoilers, that entire theory is explained in the video below. Trust me, it will change your perspective on everything happening right now in the “GoT” universe.

Even Bean thinks there’s some foundation for this theory, as he tells HuffPo Live (video is available at the link). “I’m very much doubting that he’s my son… I’ve got my suspicions… [but] I brought him up, I spent all those years looking after him,” Bean says, after initially trying to play it coy by saying he couldn’t talk about it.

In previous interviews, Bean has spoken about his hope he might be called back for cameos in season 5, cameos that would be necessary because of Brandon Stark’s newfound powers.
