Hilarious skit mocks actor’s short lifespan on camera, is painfully accurate

If there ever was a record for the most on-screen deaths, Sean Bean would probably hold it. He’s been in the industry for almost 3 decades and has died on camera in a variety of ways to the point where, when he’s offered a script now, he just knows that something terrible will befall his character.

His most recent and controversial death was on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” when Ned Stark, who had all the fans rooting for him, lost his head (quite literally so) at the end of season 1. But fans of Bean’s work know that his deaths are many and very painful.

To promote his new show with TNT, “Legends,” Bean did a hilarious skit for Funny Or Die, in which his character on “Legends” just can’t understand how he could be reading an email from an unknown sender and, you know, not die.

No matter how hard the director tries to make him think of his computer and desk as a “safe zone” and that he won’t be killed off because he’s the lead of the show, Sean Bean simply can’t wrap his head around it.

He’s frustrated to the point of desperation with not dying on camera, because he’s done it so many times. So, naturally, when he does shoot the scene, he adds a dramatic spin to it because that’s what he thinks would best fit his character.

There’s a twist, though. Watch the video below and, useless to say, enjoy!
