Animal rights activists were outraged, odds are some celebs were not pleased either

Ever since documentary film “Blackfish” hit the public eye, animal rights activists and even celebs have been doing their best to put SeaWorld in a coffin and “decorate” it with myriads of nails.

Some have even tried to convince Macy's not to allow the marine park to take part in its Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City but, by the looks of it, the multinational corporation could not care less about these pleas.

Long story short, the Parade took place yesterday, and SeaWorld world was allowed to participate, TMZ tells us.

Animal rights activists, and especially members and supporters of PETA, were quick to express their disappointment at Macy's refusal to exclude Sea World's killer whale float from its Parade.

The organization went as far as to lash out at Macy's on Twitter, and said that the corporation should be ashamed of not kicking SeaWorld out of this event when everybody knows that the marine park tortures and abuses whales, dolphins and other animals.

Neither Macy's nor SeaWorld has yet gone through the trouble of responding to the animal rights activists' accusations.
