SeaMonkey 2.17.11, a web browser, advanced e-mail, newsgroup client, IRC chat client, and HTML editing suite, has been released.

SeaMonkey 2.17.1 is just a maintenance release in the 2.17.x branch, and it only has a couple of bug fixes. This means that all the features that made it into 2.17 are all accounted for.

Highlights of SeaMonkey 2.17.1:

• SPNEGO/MS KRB5 is not working anymore. NTLM SSP has been implemented instead; • Click-to-play is now respecting per-site permissions; • The experimental support for the HTML5 'dir' value 'auto' has been removed; • Users can now send emails with IDN-based email addresses; • Clear Private Data now clears search bar and find bar data; • SSL-related warning prompts have been replaced by simple .notifications.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement.
